Here’s a little tip for you: Next time you can’t recall something, try switching up your language!

Instead of saying “I don’t remember,” tell yourself “It will come.” By doing this, you’re actually training your mind to remember, rather than unintentionally telling it to forget.

Give it a try next time you’re struggling to recall something! 🧠✨

I learned this a long time ago from reading my mum’s “law of attraction” books as a child.

It wasn’t called that back then and I don’t think it was as fashionable as it is today.

The fact is, the law of attraction is a timeless principle from the Bible verse which says:

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” (Mark 11:24).

Embrace Peace and Take a Step Back From Worry

Let’s revisit this topic today because so many people don’t realise the importance of eliminating worry and replacing it with belief, or faith.

In our busy and sometimes overwhelming world, it’s common to get wrapped up in concerns about what might go awry.

But fixating on negative possibilities can zap your energy and hold you back from shining brightly.

Instead of letting worry take over, it’s time to switch gears and focus on believing in all things good – and your skills.

Let’s dive in and look at the reasons why it’s important to let go of worry once and for all and discover how you can use your energy to propel yourself towards your aspirations and dreams.

Why Do We Worry?

Worrying feels like a natural response to uncertainty and fear.

We rationalize that it’s a way for our brains to try to anticipate and prepare for potential dangers or challenges.

When worry becomes excessive or consumes too much of our mental and emotional energy, it can be detrimental to our well-being.

Constant worry can lead to anxiety, stress, and even physical health problems.

So why do we continue to allow ourselves to worry instead of focusing on more positive and productive thoughts?

The Impact of Worry on Your Energy

When you use up your energy stressing about things that are out of your control, you end up sapping yourself of the enthusiasm and determination you need to make a change.

Worrying just crowds your mind with negative thoughts and stops you from living in the now.

Rather than moving ahead and achieving your goals, you get caught up in a loop of ‘what ifs’ and doubts.

It’s time to break free from the chains of worry and start using your energy to believe in yourself and your God-given potential.

Belief is a powerful force that can propel you forward and help you overcome obstacles.

When you believe in yourself, you are more likely to take risks, pursue your passions, and achieve your goals.

How to Start Believing Instead of Worrying

It’s simple really. Just decide to stop worrying and start believing!

In one of the late Kenneth Hagin’s books he talks about making the decision not to worry based on Philippians 4:6-7:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Can Life Without Worry Be Possible?

Kenneth Hagin marvelled at how many people, especially Christian people felt it was their actual duty to worry!

They felt that life without worrying was impossible.

Even the other day I read a YouTube comment by someone on a Christian video saying words to the effect of “You mean you never worry? How can this be?!” 🤷🏽‍♀️

Kenneth Hagin went on to say that he finally made a decision not to have any anxiety about anything even when he had perfect opportunities to do so!

Well haven’t we all had such opportunities/situations?

Just make the decision that whatever it might feel like, you’re not going to worry! You’re going to have peace instead.

No matter how it feels right now, you have the power to decide to not let worries consume you.

Choose peace, my friend. Trust and believe that everything will work out just fine. You’ve got this!

Don’t Use Your Energy to Worry, Use It to Believe

Here’s the takeaway:
