Feeling a bit rubbish lately?
Don’t!
You are fearfully and wonderfully made!
When times get tough, it can be hard to find the motivation to keep going.
Quitting may seem like the only option, but it doesn’t have to be.
Let’s explore how to stay motivated and keep pushing forward, even when things are challenging (according to the Bible).
Who Are You Again? Know Your Identity
Sometimes we have to just sit down and reflect on who we are. We were born to be champions in life.
I know, I know…sometimes it sure doesn’t feel like it. This life is a challenge – but the good news is we’re equipped to win every time.
Reframe your perspective. It’s easy to fall into a negative headspace when things don’t go according to plan.
Remember it’s just a challenge as to whether you know your identity.
If you can look at the situation from a different perspective, you’ll find that it’s easier to stay motivated and driven.
Ask yourself what you can learn from the experience. Turn it around and ask how you can use it to make yourself stronger and better prepared for the future.
What’s It All About?
Sometimes, so we can find strength to carry on, we must take a step back and look at our lives from a different lens.
We must remember that life is a journey with a purpose, and that we can choose how to respond to our circumstances.
We are given a choice to be brave and to stand up for what we believe in, even when it’s difficult.
We can choose to be kind to ourselves and to those around us, even when it’s hard.
We can choose to be hopeful and to believe that better days are ahead. We don’t even have to do all this with our own strength!
So how is this possible?
You’ve Got The Power
Having said that, when we feel we haven’t got the strength, inclination or motivation to carry on carrying on – well let’s just rest a little while and recharge.
Let’s encourage ourselves.
Here is a reminder that not only do we have the power to shape our own destiny, we also have a Higher Power to call on.
It’s a reminder that no matter how hard life may seem, we can always find the courage to keep going. We only have to ask God for it.
It is a reminder that no matter what challenges we face, we can always choose to be strong and courageous.
We can choose to be kind, to be hopeful, and to keep going, even in the face of adversity.
You Have Inner Strength
It symbolizes an inner strength that comes from within, enabling us to pick ourselves up, even in the face of adversity.
This inner strength can come from faith in our Creator. It can be found in moments of solitude or in moments of joy.
Created In His Image
When God made you, he said “ta-da!” as an expression of joy and celebration. (Psalm 139:14)
He was proud of the masterpiece He had created—you. Yes, you!
God knew what He was doing when He designed you. He made you unique and special in every way.
He crafted you with a purpose in mind, knowing that you have a divine destiny. (Genesis 1:26)
He knew that you were destined for greatness and that you would accomplish amazing things.
You Were Made To Learn and Grow
God also knew that you were going to make mistakes along the way. That’s why He gave you free will and the ability to choose.
He wanted you to learn and grow from the experiences you have and the decisions you make.
Excess Love Oh!
God’s love for you is unconditional.
He loves you regardless of what you do or don’t do. (John 3:16)
He wanted you to experience joy, success, and freedom through His Son, Yeshua. (Jesus)
He will never abandon you, even if you feel like everyone else will. He will always be there for you, no matter what.
He’s always cheering you on and encouraging you to reach your full potential.
When God made you, He said “ta-da!” with a smile on His face.
He knew that you were special and that He had created someone incredible. He knew that you were capable of achieving greatness.
He wanted you to remember that you are loved and cherished. He wanted you to know that He will always be there for you, no matter what.
So the next time you are feeling down, do remember that God made you and said “ta-da!”
Are You Ready For Amazing Things?
He loves and cherishes you and He is always with you.
He wants you to know that you are capable of amazing things and that you are never alone. He is proud of the masterpiece He created—you.
Let that sink in.
Now, let’s go get ’em!
